EICRs for landlords
Private landlords in England must have the electrical installations in their rented properties inspected and tested by a qualified person at least every five years, and give tenants a copy of the report. An EICR shows whether the installation is safe and lists anything that needs putting right.
We carry out the inspection, send you the report and, if any remedial work is needed, our electrician can complete it so you have everything you need for your records.

What is an EICR?
An Electrical Installation Condition Report is an inspection and test of a property's fixed electrical installation, such as the wiring, sockets, light fittings and consumer unit. It confirms whether the installation is safe for continued use and records anything that needs attention.
How often do landlords need an EICR?
In England, private landlords must have the electrical installation inspected and tested at least every five years, and give a copy of the report to their tenants.
What happens if the EICR finds problems?
